The Cricket Sri Lanka has announced a 16-member Sri Lanka squad led by Charith Asalanka for the upcoming three match ODI series against Bangladesh which starts after the end of test series.
The SLC selection committee in preparation for the series in Bangladesh tour of Sri Lanka 2025, which will be played across two venues.
The right handed batter Pathum Nissanka who looked red-hot form in the tests in back to back tons in the ongoing series against Bangladesh will look to emulate his red-hot form in the 50-over leg of the bout between the two countries.

The regulars Kusal Mendis, Avishka Fernando, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana will be in action during the ODI series.
Meanwhile, Milan Rathnayake who was ruled out of the second Bangladesh Test has been named in the squad for the 50-over series, but his inclusion is subjected to fitness.
On the other hand, Kusal Mendis who had an impressive outing in the test has sustained a shoulder injury during the second test and did not take the field with Lahiru Udara named as the replacement.
He is currently being assessed by the medical staff of the Sri Lankan team. The update has been provided by the official X handle of Sri Lanka Cricket, and it has been confirmed that he will undergo an MRI scan if pain continues.
The first two matches will be held at the R. Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo while the final ODI will take place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
The ODI series will be played on July 02, 05 and 08 after which the T20I leg will begin on July 10 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
