During ICC events, it is common practice to have flags of all the participating nations displayed at each venue. Recently a new video showed the absence of the Indian flag at the National Stadium in Karachi.
This has led to debate on social media after the video went viral. The exact reason behind the absence of the Indian flag is unknown, many are speculating that it may be due to Rohit Sharma and his team not travelling to Pakistan to play in the Champions Trophy.
Instead, the Indian team will play their tournament matches in Dubai. It was reported that the Indian government has denied sending the team citing security concerns.
It is evident that the high-stakes match IND-PAK clash will be played on February 23 at Dubai.

The Indian team arrived in Dubai for the Champions Trophy on February 15 and have started their training session.
The defending champions won the last edition of the Champions Trophy in 2017 and are hosting the event for the first time. The even has marked the return of the ICC Champions Trophy after an eight year hiatus.
As a part of the hybrid model agreement, India will play all their group stage matches in Dubai. If they progress to knock out stages, including the final, will be held in Dubai.
The first match of the tournament will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19 at National Stadium Karachi.
