The Cricket West Indies (CWI) has revealed the schedule featuring a test series against Australia which will be a part of the ICC WTC cycle. This will mark the first time the Aussies will play tests in the Caribbean since 2015.
The three-match test series will be played across Barbados, Grenada and Jamaica followed by a five-match T20I series in preparation for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka in 2026.
The first test in the Frank Worrell Trophy series will be played at Bridgetown, Barbados beginning on June 25.
The second test is scheduled to start on July 03 in St.George’s, Grenada and the third on July 12 in Kingston, Jamaica.

Sabina Park in Kingston will also host the first Two T20s on July 20 and 22. The remaining three T20s will be played at Basseterre, St Kitts, on July 25, 26 and 28.
The West Indies series will start two weeks after Australia plays South Africa in the WTC finals at Lord’s beginning June 11.
Both teams have been on tour in Asia. In late January, the West Indies drew a two match series in Pakistan.
The Aussies are currently involved in the two match test series in Australia’s tour of Sri Lanka 2025 where the visitors secured 1-0 lead after the end of first match.
“Australia and the West Indies share a rich history, and we’re delighted the Test series has been expanded to three matches,” said Ben Oliver, CA’s general manager of national teams.
“The series will start the next World Test Championship cycle and, as we saw last summer, we will have to be at our best to retain the Frank Worrell Trophy.
“The additional T20 matches against a dynamic West Indies team will also provide a great opportunity to progress our preparation for the next T20 World Cup which is now only 12 months away,” said Ben Oliver.
