Australia tour of Sri Lanka 2025 Schedule: The Australia cricket team is scheduled to tour Sri Lanka in January – February 2025 to play two tests and two ODIs. The tour will kick start with a test at Galle set to be played between 29 January and 2 February.
The Test series, where the teams were competing for the Warne–Muralitharan Trophy, will form part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship. The two-match ODI series will lay a strong foundation for both teams in their Champions Trophy 2025 preparations.
On Australia’s previous visit to the island in 2022, when both Tests were also played at Galle, their spinners claimed 23 of the 30 Sri Lanka wickets to fall.
A majority of the squad will spend almost a week at training facilities in Dubai to prepare for the expected conditions before arriving in Sri Lanka where the Tests will start on January 29 and February 6.
