AUS vs IND 2nd ODI Playing 11: Mitchell Marsh-led Australia will square off against Shubman Gill-led India in the 2nd ODI match played on October 23 at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide.
Australia secured a 7-wicket victory in the rain-affected game played on October 19 at Perth. India suffered a batting collapse, which the hosts capitalised on and secured a comfortable win, thanks to Mitchell Marsh’s knock.
The Men in Blues will be aiming for a win in the upcoming clash to level the series while Marsh’s side will be aiming to seal the series.
With Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed to cope runs in the first match, they will be keen on making an impact as a senior players in the Adelaide clash.

Australia won the toss and opted to bowl first. Speaking at the toss, Mitchell Marsh said, “We are gonna bowl first. It was really pleasing (win in the 1st ODI). A lot of positives from last year. One of the better pitchers in the country this year.”
“Everyone loves coming to play here. We always get amazing crowds, and hopefully both teams put on a great show for the big crowd today,” added Marsh.
“Any time you get a chance to win a series in game two, it’s an awesome opportunity. We’ve got a lot of young guys, so I look forward to it. Alex Carey comes in for Philippe. Xavier Bartlett comes in for Ellis,” concluded Mitchell Marsh.
Meanwhile Shubman Gill said, “We would have bowled first as well. Happy to bat first. Never easy when it rains, starting and stopping. The weather looks good today, hopefully no stoppages today.”
“Batting first, hopefully we’ll get plenty of runs on the board. And then get some movement under lights when we have the ball in our hand. We are going with the same team,” concluded Gill.
