RCB’s Washington Sundhar has been ruled out of the IPL 2021 second phase as the finger injury he suffered in England has not healed completely and he could not clear the fitness test at the NCA.

Washington Sundar ruled out

Sundar had got injured during Team India’s practice match against Select County XI during the India tour of England. The off-spinner played for County XI in the practice match and injured his finger during the game.

“Yes, Washy has a fractured finger just like Avesh who had a thumb dislocation. Both are out of the Test series and will go home. He will also take at least five weeks to start bowling and so no point keeping them here,” a BCCI official had told PTI.
