Star Sports

Star Sports to broadcast live coverage of IPL – Indian Premier League 2022 in India and its subcontinent (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, and Nepal) countries; all matches streamed live in India and its subcontinent on Disney + Hotstar digital platform (Website, App) with a premium subscription – Monthly and Annually.

Star India has bagged IPL media rights for a massive amount of INR 16,347.50 crores for a period of five years (2018-2022), they acquired TV and OTT (Audio, Video, and other media services via the internet) rights. Disney + Hotstar VIP has tied up with Jio and Airtel. Jio and Airtel are offering exciting prepaid recharge plans bundled with a 12-month subscription of Disney + Hotstar VIP.

Star India win five-year global media rights of IPL – Indian Premier League till 2022. The ‘global media rights’ include Indian television, digital as well as overseas broadcast and digital media rights.

The global television and digital media rights, except the Indian sub-continent, have been clubbed together and will be available for five years. “The rest of world” is grouped into different territories – for each of them, television and digital rights are clubbed together.

Sky Sports Cricket

Sky Sports Cricket has become the home of the Indian Premier League 2022 in the UK and Ireland. All matches of the 2022 IPL will be shown live on Sky Sports after the company acquired the UK and Ireland TV broadcast rights for the tournament for the next three years.

UK viewers will be able to watch all matches exclusively live on Sky Sports Cricket and Sky Sports Main Event. Star India announced that Disney + Hotstar now officially available in the United Kingdom and the United States of America, and 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL T20) matches streamed online on the digital platform for viewers in the UK and USA.

IPL 2022 will be available to subscribers in the two countries via Disney + Hotstar with a subscription fee in two tiers – annually and monthly.

Cricket viewers

United States

Cricket viewers in the United States can watch Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) live coverage on Willow TV Channel, and SuperSport will telecast live coverage of Indian Premier League 2022 (IPL 15) in Sub-Saharan Africa.

All matches live streamed on the SuperSport digital platform (Website, App) and Showmax Pro. Cricket viewers in Canada can watch IPL 15 on Willow TV.

Singapore

Cricket viewers in Singapore can watch the Indian Premier League 2022 season on StarHub. StarHub customers will be able to catch the IPL 2022 games on StarHub TV+ on new channels IPL Ch 238 and 239.

The league matches will also be available free for subscribers of StarHub TV+’s new Indian+ pass through Disney + Hotstar.

beIN Sports

beIN Sports have TV rights for live coverage of IPL 2022 in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Countries, here is the list – Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, and Yemen.

Fox Sports has acquired the rights to the 2022 Indian Premier League, the world’s leading T20 cricket tournament, with LIVE coverage of the competition to be broadcast across Fox Sports and Fox Cricket (available on Foxtel).

Kayo Sports

Kayo Sports will live stream Indian Premier League matches in Australia, a new digital platform in Australia to watch cricket matches online. The Foxtel App is the better option if you already have a TV subscription, while Foxtel Now is the way to go if you only want to stream the Foxtel channel.

Channel 9

Cricket fans in Bangladesh can watch IPL15 matches live broadcast on Channel 9. Channel 9 is a Bengali language digital cable television.

Flow Sports

Flow Sports is the popular cricket broadcaster in the Caribbean region, Indian T20 League 2022 feed to be available on Flow Sports in the Caribbean region, as they secured television right for the cash-rich Indian Premier League.

Sky Sport NZ
