Middle-order batter KL Rahul makes his Delhi Capitals debut in the DC vs SRH clash at Visakhapatnam on March 30. KL Rahul who was roped in for INR 14 crore by Delhi Capitals, missed the season opener against LSG due to the birth of his first child.
KL Rahul made his way back into the playing 11 in Delhi Capitals’ second game of the IPL 2025 against SRH. Sameer Rizvi has been sidelined for KL Rahul. KL Rahul will also play the wicketkeeper role for the Delhi Capitals in the clash against SRH.
During the toss, DC captain Axar Patel said, “We would have batted as well as it’s an afternoon game. In the last game, the ball was doing more in the second innings. We’ll look to restrict them to a low total. We have played one game here, we were working on our plans based on our opponents. We need to be brave as a bowling unit. We have certain plans and we have an aggressive mindset. One change, Sameer Rizvi is out, KL Rahul is in”.
