Expensive Players of RCB in IPL 2022 Mega Auction: Royal Challengers Bangalore spent a total of INR 55.45 crores in the recently concluded IPL 2022 Mega Auction. RCB picked a total of 22 players including he retained players ahead of IPL 2022.
Prior to the IPL 2022 Mega Auction RCB retained 3 players and added 19 players to the squad from the mega auction event.
RCB picked 2 players for 10+ crores in the IPL 2022 mega auction. Notably, RCB spent this whopping amount to rope back the players whom they released prior to the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

Sri Lankan all-rounder, Wanindu Hasaranga comes in as a replacement for Adam Zampa in the remainder of IPL 2021. Wanindu was drafted straight into the senior men’s side from Sri Lanka’s U-19 team.
An explosive middle-order batsman, Wanindu is also useful with his leggies. He had a dream start to his international career when he claimed a hat-trick in his very first outing in an ODI in June 2017.

Harshal Patel makes his return to RCB after being traded in from the Delhi Capitals ahead of IPL 2021. The Haryana-born pacer made his debut IPL appearance in 2012.

A total of INR 551.7 Crore was spent in the two days of the IPL 2022 mega auction over 204 players including 67 overseas cricketers. The most expensive player to emerge at the auction was Ishan Kishan who was bought for Rs 15.25 crore by Mumbai Indians.
