DC Released Players 2026 List: Delhi Capitals had a decent campaign during the IPL 2025 season as they were the last team to be knocked out of the IPL 2025 playoffs race.
Delhi Capitals have started the season on a high, by winning four back-to-back games. However, they lost momentum in the mid-way stage of the tournament.
Despite not making it to the playoffs, Axar Patel and his side have proven themselves to be a formidable side. However, they can afford to make some changes, and by releasing some players, they will be aiming to sign some young talents during the IPL 2026 auction.
With the deadline for submitting the retention players list ending by November 15, BCCI planned to hold the IPL 2026 mini auction on December 16, 2025. With the IPL 2026 schedule yet to be revealed, the tournament will likely follow the usual March-May Window.
According to IPL 2026 auction rules, there are no restrictions on the number of players who can be released or retained.
In addition to the purse remaining from the previous auction and the value of the players they release, teams will likely to have a total purse value of INR 151 crore for the upcoming season.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to host the Ipl 2026 auction on December 16, 2025.
