KKR Released And Retained Players 2024: The 2-time IPL Trophy winners Kolkata Knight Riders have been knocked out of the previous year’s tournament before entering the playoff round

KKR managed to register only 6 wins in their 14 league games in the previous year’s tournament. With the mega auction planned to host for the 2025 edition, KKR might make a few changes in their squad for the IPL 2024 season.

Ahead of the IPL 2024 Auction, KKR appointed Gautam Gambhir as the mentor of the team. BCCI planned to host the IPL 2024 Auction in Dubai on December 19 and set November 26 as the deadline for the teams to finalise their retention and released players list. Notably, this will be the first time an IPL auction is conducted overseas.

According to the IPL committee rules, each franchise can have 25 players in their squad, out of which a maximum of 8 can be foreign players. In Playing 11, each team can have a maximum of 4 overseas players in the mix.
