Rajasthan Royals Batting
Over 1: Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal open the innings where Buttler hits a four, but the ball seems to hit the pad and went past Ishan Kishan but the umpire gives the reward to batter Jos Buttler.
After 5 Overs: Bumrah dismissed Jaiswal in the middle of the 3rd over for 1 run after surviving a run-out dismissal in the previous delivery. Padikkal joins hands with Jos Buttler and leads RR to score 47 runs for 1 wicket loss.
After 10 Overs: Tymal Mills in the last of the 6th delivery dismissed Padikkal for 7 runs after that RR captain Sanju Samson joins hands with Jos Buttler and leads RR to score 87 runs for 2 wickets loss.
After 15 Overs: Buttler with his destructive strikes leads RR to score 138 runs for 3 wickets loss. Samson in the 15th over loses his wicket to Pollard for 30 runs.
After 20 Overs: Jos Buttler took a slow phase after reaching his 90s and made a steady inning and scored his 2nd century of the IPL history. Buttler scored his first IPL century in IPL 2021 against SRH where he scored 124 runs. Buttler becomes the second England player to score more than one Hundred in IPL format after Ben Stokes.
At the end of the 1st innings, Rajasthan Royals scored 193 runs for 8 wickets loss.
Mumbai Indians Batting
Over 1: Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma open the batting attack while Trent Boult opens the bowling attack. As of RR, Mumbai Indians too scored a boundary of the very first over.
After 5 Overs: Mumbai Indians scored 45 runs for 2 wickets loss. Prasidh in the 2nd over dismissed MI captain Rohit Sharma for 10 runs while Navdeep Saini dismissed Anmolpreet Singh for 5 runs. But on the other hand, Ishan Kishan maintains a healthy run rate.
After 10 Overs: Tilak Varma and Ishan Kishan made a steady partnership and without losing any wickets Mumbai Indians scored 94 runs for 2 wickets loss.
After 15 Overs: Mumbai Indians scored 136 runs for 4 wickets loss. Boult in the 13th over dismissed Kishan for 54 runs. Ashwin took the wicket of dangerous batsman Tilak Varma(61 runs) who poses threat with his aggressive batting style.
After 20 overs: MI scored 170 runs for 8 wickets loss. Chahal makes the game-changing moment when he dismissed Tim David and Daniel Sams in back-to-back deliveries and missed his IPL 2022 hat-trick after Karun Nair spilled the chance.
Mumbai Indians put all their effort and scored 170 runs for 8 wickets loss. RR makes it 2/2 and goes atop the points table.

Feels fantastic to contribute to a win. Was a bit nervous at the halfway mark, wondering if the innings will result in a win or not. The last few months have been wonderful, so just carrying on from there.
Family time has helped me to relax and refresh. I always have confident coming into white-ball cricket, that’s where my strength is. It (diving catch) was a good one for me, delighted to take that and it was a good phase of cricket for us. Ashwin taking a wicket and then Chahal striking twice.
