Asia Cup 2025 Live Streaming in India: The 17th edition of the Asia Cup tournament is scheduled to be played from September 9 and 28.
The tournament will be played in T20I format, played between 8 teams, with five full members of the ACC – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have been automatically qualified for the tournament.
Meanwhile United Arab Emirates, Oman and Hong Kong, the teams which finished in the top three in the 2024 Acc Men’s Premier Cup.

Why is the Asia Cup being played in T20 format?
The Asia Cup is played in the 50-over tournament since the 12th edition of the tournament. However, the ACC decided to switch the format to Twenty20 in 2016 to prepare for the 2016 T20 World Cup as the continental event preceded ICC event by few weeks.
Since then, the Asia Cup has been played in ODI and T20 formats to match the ICC World Cup that follows.
