AUS vs ENG Dream11 Prediction, Playing 11, Pitch Report

AUS vs ENG Dream11 Prediction: Mitchell Marsh-led Australia will lock horns with Jos Buttler-led England to play the 17th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 on June 8 in Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.

Australia – England, these two teams don’t need any introduction in the cricket community. England is the defending champion while Australia won the title in the 2021 edition.

Australia pulled out a close victory in their first game of the tournament played against Oman while England’s first game was ruined by rain and shared the points with Scotland.

England’s aggressive bowler Jofra Archer who was sidelined for quite a long period has a strong record against David Warner. Archer has dismissed Warner twice in 12 deliveries for only 12 runs.

Maxwell who was dismissed for a golden duck in the first game has a poor track record against Chris Jordan as he was dismissed thrice in 32 deliveries.

In T20s this year, Marcus Stoinis has scored 627 runs at an average of 31.35 and a strike rate of 140.26 and has picked up 22 wickets at 17.31 with an economy of 8.28. Stoinis was crowned as Player of the Match for his all-rounding performance in Australia’s first game of the tournament.

Adil Rashid will be a good matchup for Stoinis as he has dismissed the Australian allrounder thrice in 32 balls. With England’s batting order comprising right-handers in their top six, the inclusion of Ashton Agar could serve Australia well.
