WPL 2025 Qualified Teams: The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 has reached the midway as the teams are aiming for their spots in the play offs which is set to begin next week after the end of league stage matches on March 11.
The five-team league will have only three teams progress to the playoffs and will play their respective fixtures based on where they finish in the WPL 2025 points table.
Two matches will be played in the playoff stages – the Eliminator and the finals. The first-placed team will enter the finals while the second and third-placed teams will battle in Eliminators to book their spots for the summit clash.

WPL 2025 Playoff Schedule
Though the teams qualified for the will be announced after the end of their final matches, the schedule for the play offs will be announced later.

WPL 2025 Format
WPL 2025 Format: As per WPL 2025 schedule, the first match will be played between Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on February 14 at Vadodara International Cricket Stadium.
Women’s Premier League 2025 will follow the Round Robin format with a Group System and Playoffs format. Following are the details of the Women’s Premier League 2025 Format:
- All participating(5) teams will play against each other twice which will mark a total of 20 league matches.
- The topper of the Women’s Premier League Points Table will directly qualify for the final.
- The eliminator match will be played between the 2nd and 3rd placed teams.
- The winner of the eliminator will qualify as the second finalist for the Women’s Premier League final match.
The BCCI has also said March will remain the window for the WPL. From the 2026 season, the WPL could comprise “33-34″ matches but the BCCI has not fleshed out any detail on the tournament structure.
