ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets: The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is scheduled to play in India between October 5 – November 19 across 10 different venues in India. World Cup 2023 will be the first time the competition is held entirely in India; three previous editions were partially hosted there – 1987, 1996, and 2011.
Originally, the tournament was scheduled to be played from 9 February to 26 March 2023. But, in July 2020, it was announced that the tournament would be delayed to an October–November window, following the disruption of the qualification schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As per ICC ODI World Cup 2023 schedule, the first match will be played between England and New Zealand on October 5 in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets: Ahead of the tournament, BCCI decided to grant INR 50 crores for each World Cup hosting stadium to upgrade its infrastructure. Earlier, ICC announced the World Cup 2023 rules and format for group and knock-out stage games.
Though we have listed the ICC World Cup 2023 live streaming details for all locations in a separate post many cricket fans love to watch their favourite match at venues. But fans have to book the ODI World Cup 2023 tickets as soon as the sale start.
Ahead of the World Cup 2023, ICC rescheduled 9 matches owing to various reasons.Â
The schedule for the pre-sale of tickets for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is as follows:
- 24th August from 6 PM IST onwards: Mastercard Pre-sale – All Non-India event matches excluding warm-up games.
- 29th August from 6 PM IST onwards: Mastercard Pre-sale – All India matches excluding warm-up games.
- 14th September from 6 PM IST onwards: Mastercard Pre-Sale – Semi-Finals and Final.
The ticket sales for all other users have been segregated as per the phases below:
- August 15:Â Registration starts on ICC’s official Website(Register now: CLICK).
- 25th August from 8 PM IST onwards: Non-India Warm-Up matches and all Non-India event matches.
- 30th August from 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum.
- 31st August from 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune.
- 1st September from 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai.
- 2nd September from 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata.
- 3rd September from 8 PM IST onwards: India match at Ahmedabad.
- 15th September from 8 PM IST onwards: Semi-Finals and Final.

World Cup 2023 Format
- Ten teams will contest for the coveted trophy.
- The tournament will follow a similar format to the 2019 edition in England and Wales, with a round-robin stage followed by the knockouts.
- All 10 teams will compete against each other once in the round-robin stage.
- A victory earns the winning side two points in every match, while a no-result will mean the sides share a point each.
- The top four teams at the end of the round-robin stage will qualify for the semi-finals.
- The winners of the two successive semi-finals will contest in the final, where the champion will be crowned.
