The Volleyball world has been excited by the announcement of the 2026 Beach Pro Tour schedule, which confirms the fixtures for events running from March to August across four continents.

The Beach Pro Tour is the world’s premier international beach Volleyball featuring a long series of Elite and Challenger events by the sport’s best athletes.

Backed by an additional USD 100,000 FIVB investment per tournament, the tour has expanded to 24 teams per gender at Elite events and 32 teams per gender at Challenge events.

The expanded field has driven increased prize money with USD 400,000 at events and USD 250,000 at challenge events.

However, FIVB will continue to guarantee equal prize money for the men’s and women’s categories.

The tour will kick off in March in Bhubaneswar, India, before moving to Joao Pessoa, Brazil, for the first elite event of the season.

Mexico will host back-to-back challenger tournaments in Tlaxcala and Nayarit, followed by a strong Elite Brazilian leg in Saquarema alongside Brasilia.

Asia will welcome back challenge events in Xiamen, China and Nuvali in the Philippines, before the tour returns to Europe for events in Ostrava, Alanya and the iconic Gstaad, marking the 26th year of beach pro volleyball in the Swiss mountain.

The 2026 Beach Pro Tour will feature many of the sport’s leading athletes, including the reigning FIVB Beach Volleyball World champions, as the tour builds on a 2025 season that welcomed more than 200,000 fans across Beach Pro Tour events.

The vast majority of Elite events in 2026 will feature draws of up to 24 teams, while Challenge tournaments will include 32 teams, providing a competitive pathway for established stars and rising talent to set new records.

In November 2026, the new FIVB Beach World Series will replace the Beach Pro Tour as the premier beach volleyball competition.

The series will feature a curated selection of ten of the world’s leading sports and entertainment destinations, each contributing its own identity to the global journey.
