All-time favourite cricketer MS Dhoni has become one of the most discussed players in the ongoing Indian Premier League(IPL) 2024 following his impressive performance in the season.
Following the conclusion of the IPL 2023, where CSK won the final by beating Gujarat Titans, MSD underwent surgery for his knee injury and retained full fitness ahead of the 2024 season.
Despite being the highest trophy-winning captain in IPL, MS Dhoni made his way back and showed determination in playing the IPL 2024 season. While everyone expected him to remain as the captain of the team, MS Dhoni stepped down and named Ruturaj Gaikwad as the new captain for CSK.

During the match, Suresh Raina was asked to comment on MS Dhoni’s future during a discussion on Jio cinema. Former CSKian replied with a one-word response and said “Khelenge” which translates to “Will Play” in English.
Former Indian cricketer RP Singh was also part of the panel when the question was raised. He too, suggested that this may not be Dhoni’s last season with CSK as a player. RP Singh replied, “It doesn’t seem like this will be his last season“.
