Indian cricket team has been scheduled to tour West Indies to play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20I games between July 12 to August 13. Indian cricket team already won the Test and ODI series while the T20I series will kickstart on August 3 at Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad.

Hardik who led India in the 3rd ODI said that while the team doesn’t want luxuries, he is hopeful of the ‘basics’ to be taken care of when they tour the Caribbean side the next time.

Ahead of the start of the T20I series, Hardik couldn’t hold his frustration at how poor things were managed by the Windies board.

“This was one of the nicest grounds we have played. Things can be better when we come to West Indies next time. Things like travel, hopefully, the West Indies cricket board can take note and ensure that there are no hiccups. We don’t ask for luxury but we need some basic necessities taken care of. [On Rohit’s part in the series win] Rohit can have the full (trophy),” Pandya said at the presentation ceremony.

Indian openers Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill had great innings as they scored a partnership run of 143 runs. Ishan Kishan had scored 77 runs out of 64 deliveries before being sent by Cariah.

Shubman Gill scored 85 runs out of 92 deliveries. Being no. 3 batter Ruturaj had been sent out on 8 runs by Alzarri Joseph. Samson had scored 51 runs out of 41 deliveries and Hardik Pandya remained unbeaten 70 runs out of 52 deliveries.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 35 runs out of 30 deliveries. Jadeja was in the field with 8* runs. By the end of 50 overs, India had scored 351 runs with 5 wickets in hand.

West Indies batters struggled with Indian bowlers, as the opener Brandon King was ducked, and Kyle Mayers was sent out with 4 runs by Mukesh Kumar. Alick Athanaze had scored 32 runs out of 50 deliveries before being sent out by Kuldeep Yadav.

Thakur was terrific in the 3rd ODI as he scalped 4 wickets, and Mukesh Yadav had taken three wickets. After middle-order batters are sent out single-digit figures, Gudakesh Motie remained unbeaten with 39 runs out of 34 deliveries.

On the 36th over West Indies lost all 10 wickets scoring 151 runs and handed 200 run difference victory to India.

The first game of the 5-match T20I series will be played at Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad on August 3.
