The off-spinner Shreyanka Patil and leg-spinner Priya Mishra have been ruled out of the India A tour of Australia in August. Both players have been released from the squad due to injuries and will be receiving rehabilitation at the BCCI‘s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
Shreyanka Patil is subjected to a fitness clearance by the NCA, which caused a delay in her return to competitive cricket. On the other hand, Mishra has been sidelined from the one-day and four-day squads due to an unidentified injury.
“Both players remain under the care of the BCCI Medical Team at the Centre of Excellence and are currently undergoing their Return-to-Play protocols,” said a BCCI statement.
On this occasion, Bengal batter Dhara Gujjar and Uttarakhand all-rounder Prema Rawat have now been added to the squad across all three formats.
Gujjar was earlier part of the one-day and four-day squads, while Rawat was only included in the T20 squad.
Wk-batter Yastika Bhatia has also been included in the one-day squad. Bhatia has been part of the Mumbai Indians in WPL 2025 earlier this year and more recently participated in two tour games against ECB Development Women’s Xl.
India’s mult-format tour of Australia starts with the T20s from August 07 in Mackay and will run until August 10.
Radha Yadav will captain all three sides, which also includes Shafali Verma across formats.
