Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has been named in the Pakistan squad for the upcoming white-ball tour against the West Indies, with Rizwan to captain the ODI side while Salman Ali Agha continues to lead the T20I side.
Meanwhile, fast bowlers Hasan Ali and Haris Rauf, who did not feature in the most recent T20I series against Bangladesh, will be returning to the side.
With Rizwan and Babar Azam being named in the Pakistan squad for ODI format, but will not be involved in the T20I series. To be noted, both batters have not featured in Pakistan’s recent T20I series.

Pakistan suffered an embarrasing series defeat against Bangladesh, with Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris and Hasan Khan failed to impress.
Despite Babar Azam is expected to be back in the short format, his exclusion seems justified, as he was not close to his best the last time he played a T20I series.
He has 4223 T20I runs at an average of 39.84, but had two consecutive poor T20 World Cup campaigns amassing 246 runs combined at a mediocre average of 24.6 and a strike rate of 97.23.
The Pakistan tour of West Indies is set to begin with T20I leg with the first match to be played on August 1 at Central Broward Regional Park.
