Shafali Verma and Jess Jonassen smashed the fifties in their 147 run chase during the WPL 2025 helping the side to march towards victory on March 1, 2025, at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
During the WPL 2025 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the duo forged a partnership for the second wicket in the match helping the side in the chase.
Starting their innings, Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma opened the innings while Renuka Singh opened the bowling attack. They lost the wicket of Met Lanning for 2 runs.
However Shafali Verma and Jess Jonassen put up fifties in the match and crossed the 100 run mark.

Batting first, Smriti Mandhana and Danni Wyatt opened the innings while Marizanne Kapp opened the bowling attack.
However, they lost the wicket of Smriti Mandhana for 8 runs and scored only 45 runs in the powerplay.
Ellyse Perry joined Danni Wyatt in the batting to speed up their run score to put a big total in the scorecard.
After Danni Wyatt dismissed for 21 runs, Raghvi Bist joined Perry to balance the side and helped the side to cross 100 run mark. Meanwhile Ellyse Perry slammed fourth fifty of the season and went on to score 60* runs off 47 deliveries.
After the dismissal of Raghvi Bist for 33 runs by Nallapureddy Charani, the latter went on to bag the wicket of Richa Ghosh in the same over.
With Georgia Wareham’s 12 runs, RCB women was able to put the score in the match.
Shikha Pandey and Nallapureddy Charani bagged two wickets each while Marizanne Kapp picked a wicket for Delhi Capitals.
