The CA has announced the Australia A Squad for the India tour of 2025, where youngsters Sam Konstas and Nathan McSweeney have been included.
The tour comprises two multi-day games and three one-day games, which will be held at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow and the Green Park in Kanpur, respectively.
Meanwhile, Xavier Bartlett and Cooper Connolly have been included in the four-day squad, whereas Jake Fraser-McGurk and Tanveer Sangha make a cut from the one-day squad.
Three stars who featured in recent A series against Sri Lanka in Darwin, Jake Weatherald, Jason Sangha, and Matthew Renshaw have made the cut for the India A tour.

Konstas will be under the radar for the tour ahead of the Ashes, as the youngster has hold in the main squad looks shaky, and he would hope that the India A tour could come in handy in solidfying his spot.

Speaking on the squad announcement, Cricket Australia’s chief selector George Bailey said, “The subcontinent provides many unique challenges and the opportunity to utilise different skills with bat and ball.”
“We hope repeated experiences in these conditions will assist players in developing an effective method and understanding of their game for future subcontinent tours.”
“For many of these players we remain interested in the development of their short-form cricket as well, but balancing out priorities meant we wanted them back and available for the start of the Sheffield Shield season.”
