A day ahead of new year’s eve, Indian cricketer, Rishabh Pant met with a car accident and was admitted to the hospital on Friday.

Pant suffered multiple injuries when his BMW car collided with a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Pant suffered injuries on his head, back and feet but is in stable condition.

The incident took place between 5:30-6:00 AM while Pant travels from Delhi to his residence in Roorkee. The incident exactly took place near Mohammadpur Jat under the Kotwali Mangalore area of Roorkee.

The Rishabh Pant accident video went viral on social media and recovery wishes starts to pour from all around the world. Regarding this BCCI released an official statement.

“Prayers for speedy recovery of @RishabhPant17. Get well soon, in sha Allah,” tweeted Rizwan.

Earlier on Friday, many former and present cricketers from Pakistan such as Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram, and Shaheen Afridi also extended their wishes to the Indian wicketkeeper-batter.

“Rishabh Pant underwent a minor plastic surgery near his forehead. A 3-member DDCA team is reaching Dehradun in an hour. BCCI is constantly in touch with the doctors at Max Hospital and with Pant’s family. He is currently stable and out of danger. We are yet to decide whether he needs to be shifted to Delhi or not,” DDCA director Shyam Sharma told to a media on Saturday.

Rishabh Pant most recently played in the Test series against Bangladesh and scored 93 runs in India’s victory in Dhaka. The 25-year-old Pant’s name has not been included in India’s upcoming home white-ball series against Sri Lanka which starts on January 3, 2023.

Notably, Pant was scheduled to report to the NCA for Strength & Conditioning work ahead of the Test series against Australia scheduled to begin on February 9.
