The teams had their meeting at The Rose Bowl stadium, in Southampton where Southby records four wickets that includes two catches and two stumpings in her second match.

The Northern Superchargers were pushed to bat first as Southern Brave chose to bowl. The openers Marie Kelly and Rodrigues opened for Northern Superchargers where Indian player Rodrigues was sent out on six runs.

Phoebe Litchfield the no,3 batter was sent out in a matter of 3 balls on a duck. Then the skipper Armitage and Kelly helped the team to increase the score steadily. The duo added 43(37) and got the team back into competition.

But with the fall of Armitage for 21 on 19 deliveries, their team was back again to seats, by outstanding bowling by The Braves.

They ended their innings scoring 100 runs on 100 balls, which was a poor performance as they lost wickets during the time when the runs have to be secured.

Marie Kelly, 39(40) was able to hold herself for a considerable amount of time but eventually was sent back to the pavilion.

The Southern Braves were fantastic with the ball, where they picked wickets in crucial situations. Lauren Bell (1/14), Anya Shrubsole (2/13), Chloe Tryon (2/25), and Georgia Adams (3/21) were among the wicket-takers.

Southern Brave had a good start with their top-order batters scoring the majority of the runs required for the victory. Smriti Mandhana 19 scored out of 21 deliveries, Danni Wyatt 20 runs out of 18 deliveries, and Maia Bouchier 31 runs on 28 deliveries.

Later they went on to lose 3 wickets in the form of Georgia Adams, Maia Bouchier, and Freya Kemp where they slipped from 2/85 to 5/88. The Braves had a victory with a 5-wicket win and 13 balls to spare.

Kate Cross (1/15), Linsey Smith (2/11), and Georgia Wareham (2/15) were great wickets scalping, but in the low-scoring encounter, they are in shortage of runs in the board to defend.

On one side where the Superchargers lost wickets at regular intervals and lost momentum, The Braves were formidable with their top 3 batters to seal the game.

Rhianna Southby had an impressive innings as she had two stumpings and two catches by which she was adjudged the player of the match.  Her presence as the wicketkeeper has made the required difference in the team.
