The PCB has announced the Pakistan Women Central Contract for 2025-26 season, where the players will receive a 50% increase in their monthly retainers.
The contracts were finalised by the Women’s selection committee alongside head coach Mohammad Wasim from July 01, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
Sadia Iqbal has been named in Category A, alongside Fatima Sana, Muneeba Ali and Sidra Amin. Fast bowler Diana Baig and offspinner Rameen Shamim, meanwhile had their category upgraded from C to B, and D to C.
The PCB has also introduced a new category E for emerging players. The category aims to fast-track young talent. Eyman Fatima and Shawaal Zulfiqar, both part of Pakistan’s tour of Ireland 2025 and former U19 players are first to be included.
Several other players earned promotions. Diana Baig moved up to category B and Rameen Shamim was placed in category C based on consistent performances.
Others like Aliya Riaz, Sidra Nawaz, Natalia Parvaiz and Waheeda Akhtar received central contracts falling into either category B or D.
These changes come ahead of a busy schedule with the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in Septemer-October 2025, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2026.
