The all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt has created history in the Women’s Premier League and became the first batter to achieve 1000 WPL runs.
She went on to complete the feat in the WPL 2025 finals against Delhi Capitals played on March 15. Sciver has been part of the MI campaign since the league’s inception. She scored 332 runs in 10 matches in the WPL 2023 season but managed only 172 runs in 9 matches of the 2024 season.
However, she returned to the form in the ongoing season scoring 500+ runs in the tournament. She also has 29 wickets with her stellar performance. She has 8 WPL fifties in 28 matches and has an average of 47.47 and a strike rate of 143.24.
She has a highest score of 80* in the WPL making an valuable asset in the league. Nat Sciver-Brunt sits top in the most run getter of the WPL history.
Meanwhile Ellyse Perry sits second with 972 runs while Meg Lanning has 939 runs and stands third.

Talking of the finals, MI Women were off to shaky start with losing early wickets of Hayley Matthews and Yastik Bhatia which brought Harmanpreet Kaur and Nat Sciver Brunt at the crease.
As the former champions were tattering with 2/14, the experienced batters took over the responsibility in the all-important finals.
