Fast bowler Junaid Siddique has been included in the UAE Squad for the UAE T20I Tri-nation series, which is set to take place in Sharjah from August 29 to September 7.
The series will serve as preparation for all three sides ahead of the men’s upcoming Asia Cup 2025, which is set to begin on September 9.
Siddique has played 59 ODIs and 71 T20Is for the UAE and has picked up 76 and 96 wickets in the two white-ball formats, respectively.
Meanwhile, uncapped all-rounder Harshit Kaushik, leg spin bowling all-rounder Muhammad Farooq and left-arm pacer Muhammad Jawadullah have been included in place of Akif Raja, Matiullah Khan and Zuhaib Zubair.

The rest of the squad will feature Muhammad Waseem, Alishan Sharafu, Aryansh Sharma, Rahul Chopra, Muhammad Zohaib and Saghir Khan.
The former India opener Lalchand Rajput will be headcoaching the side. UAE will play in the first match against Pakistan on August 30, followed by Afghanistan on September 01. They will face Pakistan again on September 04 and Afghanistan on September 05.
The UAE will play their opener match in Asia Cup campaign against India on September 10 at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
