IPL 2024 GT vs KKR: The 63rd match of the IPL 2024 tournament has been delayed and abandoned due to rainfall in Ahmedabad. The bad weather conditions delayed the toss which started to rain.
After waiting for more than three hours the match has been abandoned. The cutoff time for a 5-over match was 10.56 PM. After the rain slowed down and started to drizzle, both side captains came to the ground and had discussions with officials after which they announced that the match had been called off.

Gujarat Titans have been in the last chances for advancing to playoffs, but after the game was called off, they were eliminated from the tournament as they had only 5 victories out of 12 matches they played in the tournament.
Having made it to the finals in the last two seasons of the IPL tournament, hopes were high for Gujarat Titans despite the shift in the captaincy. But they failed to deliver this season and became the third team to be eliminated from the 2024 season after Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings.
On the other hand, Kolkata has already secured their spot in the playoffs after securing 9 victories in the 12 matches they played. Both teams were awarded one point each after the match was canceled.
