Indian Cricket Team New Jersey: BCCI announced that Adidas will be the new kit sponsor of the Indian team. The deal will begin with the WTC 2023 Final next month and end in March 2028, which will see Adidas becoming the official kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team.

Indian Cricket Team New Jersey: The deal is worth INR 350 crore or INR 70 a year but there has been no official word on it. The German company will replace Kewal Kiran Clothing Ltd, maker of Killer Jeans which filled in temporarily after MPL exited the kit sponsorship deal.

India Cricket Team will wear the jersey for all three formats of men’s, women’s and age-group cricket.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) last month announced Adidas as the kit sponsor for the BCCI. “The contract, which runs through to March 2028, will give adidas exclusive rights for manufacturing kit across all formats of the game. adidas will be the sole supplier for all match, training & travel wear for the BCCI- including the men’s, women’s & youth teams. Starting June 2023, Team India will be seen in the three stripes for the very first time and will debut their new kit during the World Test Championship Finals,” the BCCI said in a statement.Indian Cricket Team New Jersey

Speaking about the partnership, Jay Shah, Honorary Secretary, BCCI said “We are committed to helping grow the game of cricket and could not be more excited to partner with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands, adidas, in this journey. With its rich historical legacy in sports, world-class products, and strong global reach, adidas will play an important role in driving the performance and future success of different categories of Indian cricket”.

Sources add that the BCCI-Adidas partnership has multiple components, including a sponsorship fee, royalties from the sale of merchandise, and kitting for players and support staff. As per the deal, Adidas will be paying ₹75 lakhs per match.

In addition to the Men’s & Women’s Senior National Cricket Team, adidas will also kit the India “A” Men’s and Women’s National Team, India “B” Men’s and Women’s National Team, India U-19 Men’s and Women’s National Team, their coaches, and staff.

Nike, which had a deal with the BCCI until September 2020, was paying ₹88 lahks per match to the BCCI. The BCCI will also get a royalty of ₹10 crores per year on the merchandise sold by Adidas over the next five-year cycle.
