ICC announced Women’s ODI Team of the Year 2019

The year 2019 came to an end and it’s time to award the players based on their performance for the whole year.

On Tuesday 17th December 2019, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the Women’s ODI Team of the year. Indian Women’s Team Opener Smriti Mandhana grabbed a spot in both the ICC Women’s ODI and ICC Women’s T20I teams of the year. This is one of the proud moments for the Indian Women’s Cricket Team but there is still a lot to come.

Alyssa Healy, Meg Lanning, Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, Megan Schutt are the players made into both the T20I team and the ODI Team of the Year. Whereas, Meg Lanning and Alyssa Healy are the players named as Captain and Wicket Keepers of both the team.
