The Wk-batter Heinrich Klaasen has slammed fifty in the IPL 2025 game against Mumbai Indians after Hyderabad lost five quick wickets at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
He went on to the first fifty of the season in 35 deliveries, which included 7 fours and 1 six. Ahead of the game, Klaasen has 210 runs at an average of 35 in seven games of the ongoing season.
Earlier, Hyderabad struggled to keep up wickets as they lost five wickets to score 35 runs.
However, Heinrich Klaasen and Abhinav Manohar took over the innings to revive the side from early wickets.
Trent Boult went on to dismiss Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma in the second and fourth over, respectively, while Deepak Chahar bagged the wickets of Ishan Kishan and Nitish Kumar Reddy in the 3rd and fourth over of the game.
They are struggling with 13 runs for 4 inside the powerplay, which will be SRH’s highest wicket loss in the tournament. With Aniket Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen at the crease, Hyderabad are looking back to come into the game.
By the end of power play, SRH scored 24 runs in the powerplay. Klaasen and Manohar stitched a 99 run partnership in the scoreboard.

Speaking at the toss, Hardik Pandya said, Feels good (on the applause). I would like to pass my condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack.”
“We’ll bowl first. Looks like a good track, just one change for us – Vignesh comes in for Ashwani. We need to just execute our plans and take the game as simply as possible, plan properly.”
Meanwhile SRH captain Pat Cummins said, “One change for us – Shami goes out. It is a cause for optimism, we know this surface and ground really well. We’ve played some really good cricket this year. (On the Pahalgam terror attack) It has been heartbreaking for us as well, our thoughts are with the victims and their families.”
