ENG vs WI Playing 11: The England cricket team was scheduled to face West Indies to play the second game of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 round on June 20 in Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia.

West Indies cricket team was one of the few teams to remain unbeaten in the group stage. West Indies have won all their four games of the group stage and entered the Super 8 round with confidence.

While England who managed to register only a couple of victories in their group matches entered the playoff round after Australia trashed Scotland in their last group match. But the defending champions have many dynamites that could be exposed at any time during the crucial games.

The likes of Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, Moeen, Liam, and Sam are all capable of turning the tables in favour of England. On the other hand, West Indies scripted multiple records in their last game against Afghanistan and is expected to continue the same momentum in this game.

With home venue advantage, West Indies might have an upper hand compared to the defending champions.

Speaking of the playing 11, both teams have made noticeable changes in their lineup. Mark Wood comes in for Chris Jordan in the England playing 11 while West Indies replaced Roston Chase for Shai Hope and Romario for Obed McCoy.
