CSK Holi Celebrations goes Viral; Dwayne Bravo Seen immersed in Festivities

The former West Indies player and current bowling coach of CSK, Dwayne Bravo, has been immersed in Holi festivities during the celebrations in Chennai.

The legendary all-rounder Dwayne Bravo attended an event where fans enchanted “Bravo Bravo” which made him happy and in a mood after being welcomed to one of the most celebrated festivals in India.

He is currently in India serving as the bowling coach of CSK in the IPL 2024 campaign. After playing for the franchise for a long time, he agreed to coach the franchise after retiring from the league.

He was pleased with the performances of CSK’s bowlers in the first match of the campaign against RCB. Though Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik put up a good show in the death overs, RCB could not stop CSK from chasing the target.

Ruturaj Gaikwad who was named as CSK’s captain has led the side to victory in his captaincy stint. Mustafizur Rahman who played in his first IPL game for CSK picked up four wickets to help the side secure victory in the match.

MS Dhoni stepped down from captaincy before the start of the 17th edition and gave the captain armband to Ruturaj Gaikwad. Dhoni is one of the most successful IPL captains as CSK has 133 wins followed by Rohit Sharma with 87 wins.

MS Dhoni has made his international retirement on August 15, 2020. He led India to clinch three ICC trophies of T20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI World Cup in 2011, and the Champions Trophy in 2013.

With their first win, they are placed in second position in the IPL 2024 points table. Chennai Super Kings will be playing their next match against Gujarat Titans on March 26 at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium.
