The Champions Trophy 2025 match between Australia and South Africa in Rawalpindi was delayed due to rain.
Steven Smith-led Australia will lock horns with Temba Bavuma-led South Africa to play the seventh match of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on February 25 in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.
Australia and South Africa have played 110 ODIs with South Africa winning most of the matches – 55 games while Australia have won 51 matches.
Both South Africa and Australia have won their first games respectively but the Proteas hold the top spot in the Champions Trophy 2025 points table with a higher net run rate.
“We might need to make 400 if we bat first,” Alex Carey told a press conference in Rawalpindi on Monday, the day before Australia’s Champions Trophy match against South Africa.
CT 2025 AUS vs SA Pitch Report
In the match between New Zealand and Bangladesh, the tracked looked a good one for the batters who are ready to spend time in the middle and who can play spin well. Especially in the afternoon session the track looked slow and the spinners played a big part in deciding the fate of the match.
