The 31-year-old Beth Mooney has brought up her fourth WPL fifty and first of the 2025 season during the opener clash against Royal Challengers Women on February 14.
As per the WPL 2025 schedule Gujarat is set to play in the first match of the season against defending Champions RCB women.
With the solid start, Mooney was batting aggressively and went on to score 56 runs before being dismissed by Prema Rawat. Mooney reached the milestone in just 37 balls.
After the dismissal of South African cricketer Laura Wolvaardt and Hemalatha for 6 and 4, Mooney joined Gardner for a 44-run partnership for the third wicket.
However she was dismissed on the 12th over of the innings while Gujarat lost the third wicket for 85 runs.
Prior to the match, Beth Mooney played nine matches in WPL and scored 285 runs with an average of 40.71 and her high score 85 comes against RCB.

Gujarat Giants is synonymous with slow starts in WPL campaigns with both in 2023 and 2024. However, they had a positive start in the match with a fifty from Beth Mooney and Ashleigh Gardner.
