The Indian cricket team was scheduled to play 2 Tests during their Bangladesh tour where the 1st Test will be played on December 14 and 2nd Test on December 22 in Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium and Shere Bangla National Stadium respectively.

Winning the toss, India opted to bat first and scored 404 runs for 10 wickets loss at the end of the inning. The openers KL Rahul and Shubman Gill failed to make their best and returns to the pavilion soon. Following them, the much-expected Virat Kohli too dismissed for just 1 run.

Vice-captain Pujara scored the team’s highest by scoring 90 runs while Shreyas Iyer scored the second-best – 86 runs. With Ashwin’s lower-order contribution, India scored 404 runs.

India strikes earlier during their bowling by dismissing Najmul Hossain Shanto and Yasir Ali at the initial stage of the match. At the end of day 2, Bangladesh scored 133 runs for 8 wickets loss.

Kuldeep Yadav bagged 4 wickets while Mohammed Siraj bagged 3 wickets before the end of the day. Siraj draws the first blood by dismissing Shanto off the very first delivery of the inning.

Siraj in the 14th over bowled a 140 KMPH length ball outside off-stump while Das push it towards the gully. During that delivery, Siraj has some words but Das signals that he didn’t hear likely “what are you saying?”.

Suddenly onfield umpire intervenes and handled the situation smoothly and avoids it before the situation gets intense. Right in the next delivery, Siraj dismissed Litton Das for 24 runs while Siraj celebrate with his finger on the lips.

Following the dismissal, Virat Kohli made a gesture that L Das made in the previous delivery towards Siraj and created a positive vibe on the field. Fans went craze upon seeing Virat Kohli in his native aggressive style. Soon the video went viral on social media.
