IND vs PAK Probable Playing 11: Suryakumar Yadav-led India will square off against Salman Agha-led Pakistan in the 6th match of the Asia Cup 2025 on September 14 at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
This is the first time India and Pakistan are set to clash each other since the Pahalgam attack in April 2025. Previously, India and Pakistan have met on 13 occasions in the T20I format where India has won 10 times while Pakistan has 3 wins.
The last clash comes in the T20 World Cup 2024 where India secured a thriller 6-run victory played on June 04, 2024 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.
India made a strong start in the Asia Cup 2025 by a 9 wicket victory against UAE while Pakistan secured a 93 run victory in the game against Oman.
The 17th edition of the Asia Cup tournament is scheduled to be played from September 9 and 28.
The tournament will be played in T20I format, played between 8 teams, with five full members of the ACC – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have been automatically qualified for the tournament.
Meanwhile United Arab Emirates, Oman and Hong Kong, the teams which finished in the top three in the 2024 Acc Men’s Premier Cup.
8 teams divided into two groups to play in the group stages and the top two teams of the Asia Cup 2025 points table will advance to Super Four stages.
The teams will play with each other in the Super Fours and the top two team will advance to the finals.
