    Adam Zampa becomes first Australian to take 100 T20I wickets

    Australian ace spinner Adam Zampa becomes the first bowler to complete 100 wickets in T20Is. Zampa achieved this feat during the Australia vs Namibia 2024 T20 World Cup Clash at Antigua.

    Adam Zampa bagged a total of four wickets in Australia’s clash against Namibia and paved the way for Australia’s victory. With the victory, Australia becomes the second team to be qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 after South Africa.

    Adam Zampa who skipped the IPL 2024 after deciding to nurse a niggle turned out to be a match-winner for Australia in the 2024 T20 World Cup campaign. In Aussies first three encounters, Adam Zampa managed to bag at least two wickets in each game.

    Moreover, the leggie was crowned Player of the Match award for his impressive performance against England at Barbados.

    Adam Zampa achieved the 100 T20I wicket feat by dismissing Zane Green(1), Wiese(1), Trumpelmann(7) and Bernard Scholtz(0).

    Mitchell Starc stands second in the list with a tally of 76 wickets under his belt while Hazlewood and Cummins hold the third and fourth spot with 64 and 60 wickets respectively.
