ICC maintains ranking lists for both players and teams for men’s and women’s cricketers which will vary based on the player’s and team’s performance in every game/series.
Apart from the ranking list for current players, ICC maintains a list under “All Time Rankings” where the players with the highest rating in the cricket history will be listed.
Only Active Player in All Time ODI Ranking
Mostly former cricketers who executed extraordinary performances will be listed in all-time rankings. The list will be maintained for all three formats – ODI, T20I and Test. But many crazy cricket fans will search for the term “Active Players in ICC All Time Ranking” list.
That too the search for “Active Player in All Time ODI Ranking” has never turned into a downtrend. Even the “God of Cricket” Sachin Tendulkar have failed to make it to the top 10 of the All-Time ODI Ranking list.
Australian legend Ricky Ponting too failed to make it to the top 10 while an active Indian cricketer entered the list and holds the 6th spot.
Many might guess the name once they come across the tag “active Indian Cricketer”. Yes, it is none other than the great “Virat Kohli” the player with the second most international centuries after Sachin’s 100 centuries.
The run machine Virat Kohli who scripted multiple records in his career so far, holds the 6th spot in ICC Men’s All-Time ODI Ranking with a rating of 911. Apart from active Indian player, Virat Kohli is the only active cricketer in the men’s all-time ODI ranking list.
Legendary batter Viv Richards holds the top spot with 935 rating while Pakistan’s Zaheer Abbas holds the second spot with 931 rating.
