The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has revealed the official Afghanistan jersey for the upcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, set to take place across Pakistan and UAE next month.
The highly anticipated announcement was made via the Board’s social media platforms, accompanied by a video of Afghanistan’s breathtaking mountainous regions before revealing the team’s new shirt.
“Presenting Afghanistan’s Official Jersey for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025!” said ACB in the post.
“Inspired by our rich cultural heritage, the jersey design beautifully blends the elegance of Naskh calligraphy with the geometric patterns of the historic Jam Minaret in Ghor Province.”

“The Jam Minaret, standing for nearly 800 years, is located in the historic city of Firuzkuh along the banks of the Harirod River. With a height of 65 meters and a diameter of 9 meters, it serves as a testament to Afghanistan’s rich heritage.”

Afghanistan is the first nation to reveal their Champions Trophy 2025 jersey which were weared by captain Hashmatullah Shahidi, and fellow cricketers in the video.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will feature eight teams competing across three venues in Pakistan – Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. Meanwhile the matches in the UAE will be played Dubai with the tournament running from February 19 to March 09.
With the tournament nears, Pakistan has opened online portal to book tickets for the tournament as the fans are eager for Stadium experience the ICC event games.
Afghanistan has been placed in Group B along with South Africa, England and Australia. As per Afghanistan’s Champions Trophy 2025 schedule, their first match against South Africa wll be played on February 21 at National Karachi Stadium.
