SL vs ZIM Playing 11: Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka will square off against Sikandar Raza-led Zimbabwe in the 5th match of the Pakistan T20I Tri-Nation Series 2025 on November 25 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.
Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe have met in a match in the ongoing series, where Zimbabwe secured a 67-run victory. Sri Lanka lost both games, while Zimbabwe has one victory and one defeat in the series.
Both sides has met on 10 occasions in T20I format between 2008 and 2025 where Sri Lanka won seven games while Zimbabwe managed three wins.

Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bat. Speaking at the toss, Sikandar Raza said, “ We are going to bat first. It is going to get a bit tackier as there could be dew later on. This certainly looks a good surface, a real Pindi wicket. So batting first and looking to make the most out of it. One change for us: Dion Myers comes in for Tony Munyonga.”
Meanwhile, Dasun Shanaka said, “Even if the toss had gone my way, would have bowled first. We’re going with seven batters today, so our plan was pretty clear from the start. In a must-win game like this, we need to sharpen everything. We’re aware of the mistakes we’ve made throughout the tournament and we need to learn quickly and execute better. We have made two changes.”
