INDW vs PAKW Playing 11: Harmanpreet Kaur-led India will square off against Fatima Sana-led Pakistan women in the 6th match of the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 on October 05 at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
India had a solid start in the ongoing tournament, securing a 59-run victory against Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, Pakistan suffered a defeat against Bangladesh women in their opening match and will be aiming for a win in the ongoing tournament.
With India secured in fourth position, Pakistan is reeling down in the 6th position of the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 points table.
India and Pakistan have met on 11 occasions in the ODI format, where India have a dominating record, winning all 11 games.

Pakistan Women won the toss and opted to bowl. speaking at the toss, Fatima Sana, “We’re going to bowl first, looks like there could be some moisture on the wicket. One change for us – Sadaf Shamas replaces Omaima Sohail – our confidence is great, hopefully we’ll play better today. Anything under 250 could be a good chase.”
Meanwhile, Harmanpreet Kaur said, “We played a good series here before the WC. We’re thinking positively and are looking to do well. One unfortunate change – Amanjot isn’t playing (she’s ill), Renuka Thakur replaces her. We’ve gelled well as a team and looking forward to today’s contest.”
