As per the MLC 2026 schedule, the first match will be played between Texas Super Kings and Seattle Orcas on June 18 at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas.

MLC 2026 Format
- A total of six teams will compete in the tournament, with each franchise playing 10 matches during the league stage. The league stage will feature 30 matches in total, where teams will face each other twice in a double round-robin format.
- Teams will earn points based on their performances, and the top four teams in the standings will qualify for the playoffs.
- The playoff stage will consist of four matches: Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Challenger (Qualifier 2), and the Final. The winner of Qualifier 1 will advance directly to the Final, while the loser will get a second chance by playing in the Challenger against the winner of the Eliminator.
- The winner of the Challenger will secure the remaining place in the Final. The two finalists will then compete for the Major League Cricket 2026 title.

The entire Major League Cricket 2026 will be hosted across three venues, with the playoffs and finals to be played at Oakland Coliseum, California.
