    Kolkata Knight Riders’ key batter Venkatesh Iyer once again proved his worth by scoring an impressive 29 balls 60 against SRH at Eden Gardens.

    In the KKR vs SRH match today at Eden Garden, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to field first.

    Quinton de Kock and Sunil Narine opened the inning for KKR while Shami opened the bowling attack for SRH. In the second over, Cummins dismissed de Kock for one run and made the first breakthrough of the game.

    In the very next over, Shami dismissed Narine for seven runs and added pressure over the KKR’s batting lineup. Though KKR lost both their openers cheaply, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Ajinkya Rahane started to build a partnership and pushed KKR’s score to 53 at the end of the first powerplay.

    While the duo was expected to hike the run rate in the middle overs, Zeeshan Ansari in the 11th over dismissed Rahane for 38 runs and broke the partnership. Following the skipper’s dismissal, Angkrish Raghuvanshi secured his second IPL fifty in 13th over and dismissed in the same over for 50 runs.

    Following the wicket, Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh started to build an excellent partnership and added 91 runs for the next wicket. Harshal Patel in the third delivery of the final over dismissed Venkatesh Iyer for 60 runs and restricted the run flow.

    At the end of 20 overs, KKR scored 200 runs for six wickets loss.
