During the SRH vs GT clash at Hyderabad, Mohammed Siraj contained Sunrisers Hyderabad for 152 runs in the first innings with his impressive four-wicket haul.
Siraj dismissed Head(8), Abhishek Sharma(18), Aniket Verma(18) and Simarjeet Singh(0) to bag his third four-wicket haul in IPL.
Speaking of the match, Gujarat Titans won the toss and opted to bowl first where Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head opened the batting for SRH while Siraj opened for GT.
In the very first over, Siraj dismissed dangerous Travis Head for 8 runs and made an early breakthrough for GT.
Though Head dismissed cheaply, Abhishek Sharma started to strike hard with the bat but Siraj in the fourth delivery of the fifth over, dismissed Sharma for 18 runs.
At the end of six overs, SRH managed to score only 45 runs for two wickets. SRH’s 45 in the first powerplay becomes their second lowest powerplay in Hyderabad in nine innings since 2024.

Soon, Prasidh joined the party by dismissing Ishan Kishan for 17 runs in the 8th over while SRH managed to score 64 runs at the end of 10 overs.
Nitish Kumar Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen started to build a partnership with some crucial shots but Sai Kishore in the 14th over, dismissed Klaasen and broke the partnership. Without much contribution from SRH’s lower-order batters, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to score 152 runs for eight wickets at the end of 20 overs.
