In the GT vs MI clash at Ahmedabad, Mumbai Indians have won the toss and have opted to field first. Speaking of the game, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan opened the batting attack for the Gujarat Titans while Trent Boult opened the bowling attack.
The duo made an impressive start and scored consistently throughout the powerplay and pushed GT’s score to 66 runs without losing a wicket at the end of the first powerplay. Hardik Pandya in the ninth over, dismissed Shubman Gill for 38 runs and broke the well-settled partnership.
Buttler continued the momentum and pushed Gujarat’s score to 121 runs for a wicket loss at the end of 13 overs. Mujeeb Ur Rahman in the 14th over, dismissed Buttler and sent the dangerous batter to the pavilion after scoring 39 runs.
