The former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has praised the RCB’s bowling unit for their success in the IPL 2025 season after they beat Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured a 6-wicket victory against Delhi Capitals on Sunday’s clash, where Virat Kohli smashed his sixth half-century of the season, maintaining a perfect record away from home in the competition this season.
Speaking after the game, former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has showered praise over the team’s bowling attack.
Manjrekar shared his opinion in X and pointed out the targets that RCB have been changing in their matches.
He said that four out of seven wins have come in chases and none of them have been difficult chases this season.

Krunal Pandya who named as the Player of the Match after making a crucial knock 73* out of 47 balls. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood bowled exceptionally well during the match against Rajasthan to secure a 11-run victory. He was named as the Player of the Match in the last game after picking up 4 wickets for just 33 runs.
RCB’s incredible run this season has taken them to the top of the league table in the IPL 2025 points table. They secured 7 wins out of 10 games, however, their losses have come at home – Bengaluru.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru have only 4 games in the group stages of the 2025 season. They will be facing CSK, LSG, SRH and KKR with Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings for the playoff spots.
Bengaluru will be facing Chennai Super Kings on May 03 at M. Chinnaswamy Stdium, Bengaluru.
