KKR vs RR Probable Playing 11: Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders is scheduled to play in the 31st match of the IPL 2024 season against Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals on April 16 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

After securing victories in four out of five matches they played in IPL 2024 so far, Kolkata is scheduled to host Rajasthan Royals on the 31st match of the tournament.
After three consecutive victories in the matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Delhi Capitals, they suffered a defeat at the hands of Chennai Super Kings before securing a big victory against Lucknow Super Giants.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals is set to visit Eden Gardens after securing five victories out of six matches they played in the tournament. They won the matches against Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Punjab Kings while suffering a defeat against Gujarat Titans.
“Life on the outside of cricket really affects you. And that’s one big major part that has played in my career is how I deal with it. “It didn’t really start out well, I took a lot of things to heart, that were being said about me, etc, whatever it was.”
“I just had to figure out what mattered to me, and whose opinions mattered to me, and I figured that out eventually And that has helped. Cricketing-wise, I think playing at No. 4 is, again, something that I’m used to doing in domestic cricket in different situations, more common situations, actually. But yeah, it’s been a mix of both, emotionally and skill-wise,” said Riyan Parag.
“Will keep reiterating that it’s a funny tournament and have to stay in the present as much as possible. Have to seize the moment and not leave it on someone else,” said Shreyas Iyer.
Both sides have been the most successful teams in the tournament, with Rajasthan Royals in the first position and Kolkata Knight Riders in the second position of the IPL 2024 points table.
