The CSK middle-order batter Dewald Brevis and Ravindra Jadeja will be aiming to post a high score on the scoreboard during the IPL 2025 game against Gujarat Titans on May 25 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Gujarat Titans will be looking for a win in the ongoing clash, aiming to finish in the top two in the IPL 2025 points table.
Batting first, Ayush Mhatre and Devon Conway open the innings while Mohammed Siraj opens the bowling attack.
The 17-year-old went on to aggressive mode scoring with a 200 strike rate. He scored 34 runs in 17 deliveries before being dismissed by Prasidh Krishan in the fourth over. Meanwhile, Conway went for a slow and steady start, and after Mhatre’s dismissal, he joined hands with Urvil Patel to help the side score 68 runs in the powerplay.
Urvil Patel went on to score 37 runs off 19 deliveries before being dismissed by Sai Kishore in the 10th over. Dube who came to bat, went out on Shahrukh Khan’s dismissal scoring only 17 runs.
Meanwhile, Devon Conway went on to slam his fifty before being dismissed by Rashid Khan. After his dismissal Dewald Brevis and Ravindra Jadeja are aiming for a high total at Narendra Modi Stadium.

Speaking at the toss, MS Dhoni said, “We will bat first. It (pitch) looks nice and hard, think it will remain the same throughout the 40 overs. It’s quite hot, looks like a good track. It’s (his body) surviving. Every year is a new challenge.”
“It needs a lot of maintainance. Didn’t trouble me enough when I was playing international cricket. Chennai is very nice after 3.30-4pm, this is different heat, on the drier side. We are last in the table, we will still remain last, if win or lose.”
“Need to enjoy our cricket. We have one change. Hooda is back for Ashwin. They are a good side, they play authentic cricket. Need to bowl tight lines, otherwise the batters will punish you,” concluded MS Dhoni.
On the other hand, Shubman Gill said, “Feels exciting to have that (Test captaincy) challenge, it’s going to be an exciting series against England for us. In the last match we were in the game till the 16th or 17th over.”
“We were looking to bowl first today anyway. Looks a good wicket to bat on, it won’t change much. We have one change, Gerald Coetzee comes in for Kagiso Rabada,” concluded MS Dhoni.
